Jay B. Umansky, Principal

Mr. Umansky, the principal of the firm, earned his J.D from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1979.  Jay has more than 30 years experience devoted exclusively to representing creditors.

Mr. Umansky is licensed to practice law both in the states of Missouri and Illinois. Mr. Umansky has unique experience in solving the receivable issues of health care providers and is a specialist in their collection needs. Mr. Umansky has been called to testify as an expert witness in litigation dealing with creditors’ rights issues.

Mr. Umansky has lectured before the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the American Guild of Patient Accounts Managers, the Clinic Managers Association of Greater St. Louis, the Midwest Healthcare Management Association, and the Bar Association of Greater St. Louis.

Mr. Umansky has also been a faculty member speaking before attorneys at seminars sponsored by the Commercial Law League of America, the National Business Institute, Lorman Business Institute, and the University of Missouri, Kansas City Law School.
